Paul and I have been trying to get vacation plans together. It is time to buy tickets for Christmas right now, but we haven't really figured out where we should go yet. I think we are both thinking someplace with warm weather. Winter is supposed to be a little bad in Japan, mainly because of no central heating anywhere, and little insulation in the walls.

The closing ceremony for my school is on December 24 this year, in one of my school's least wise decisions. The 23rd is a Monday and the Emperor's birthday (a national holiday). This means that if they had made the 20th the closing day instead, that we would get 3 more days of winter vacation. I just don't understand the schools sometimes.
