An interesting fact: pumpkins in Japan are green and smaller than pumpkins in America. From what I can tell, the skins are not as tough either, because they are often served in tempura with the skin on. That's about all I've learned from the Halloween lesson I've taught a million times now. I'm still teaching Halloween lessons, even though it is after Halloween. It's a pretty easy cultural lesson to do, and the students like seeing me in my superbrian costume.
