The big news in Japan tonight is that three civilians were kidnapped in Iraq recently. The terrorist group is demanding that the Japanese army (self defense forces) leave Iraq or they will burn the hostages alive. Sounds a bit gruesome. I can't imagine that Japan will pull out its forces, so I am worried about the hostages. It's a shame, since all three of the civilians are doing work to help the people of Iraq. I can understand attacking the military, but I don't understand attacking those who are obviously helping you.
