The snow hasn't been too bad so far. It comes and goes in flurries, so the roads have stayed pretty clear.

Victoria and I are going to Okinawa next week for my birthday. There is a birthday discount when you fly inside Japan one week before or after your birthday. It costs 10,000 yen one-way, so about 190 dollars round trip. This is much better than the regular price which is about five or six hundred dollars. We are excited because it is about 19 degrees celsius there, which is much better than the 2 degrees here.
