I was sad on Wednesday to hear about layoffs at my old company, HAHT Commerce. I remember how bad the layoffs were last year, so I am sure they were equally horrible this year. But hey, look on the bright side, now those of you who were laid off have more time to read about Japan! If nothing else, the layoffs have confirmed that I made the right decision in leaving the company. I don't know that I would still have my job otherwise.
