I found out today there is a new student in one of my classes. He is a first year student, and he started coming in September. He is Chinese, and he doesn't speak any Japanese. I imagine he'll have to learn quickly. He got pulled from English class today to go study Japanese, and I noticed that he is using the same book I use. However, he's way behind me. I hope he does well, because it has to be difficult for him. I don't think any of the teachers speak any Chinese, so that can't be easy. He doesn't speak English, either.
