I forgot to mention that I got my primary ballot in the mail a week ago, so I have filled it out and voted. Gives me a say before the rest of North Carolina, though I suppose I can't wait until the results of some of the other primaries come out to decide. The one thing I couldn't figure out is why there is a primary for the non-partisan judge races. It seems like they could just wait until the general election since the party does not have to choose a candidate. I don't know if it is to avoid a runoff later or what.
