The good news is that everything has been approved for my new job. I have a work visa and will be flying to England on Sunday. I am really excited about going back to work again. I will be working as an e-learning adviser at Sheffield Hallam University, in Sheffield. I will work closely with professors, helping them create websites, discussion groups, and use other features of Blackboard, a program designed to make it easier to use technology in the classroom.

Another piece of good news is that I have managed to buy a ticket back to England for $400, which is much better than the $1000-2000 prices I was seeing originally.

The only bad news is the my external hard drive died on me, so I lost some of my backed up data, but not too much.
